Fragrant and smooth tasting, our Orange Label Borgo Condiment is obtained from red and white grapes grown in the Emilia-Romagna region. Once acidified, the grape must is then aged at length in oak barrels. The alter ego of the more famous Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, our Condiment is an exceptional product in its own right. It’s made with grape must from our region, to which a small but varying percentage of aged wine vinegar is added to obtain the different varieties of dressing with ageing. Orange Label Condiment holds the flavours of the oak casks in which it has aged, the resultant blend of bitter and sweet giving it a pleasingly smooth taste. The fragrance is still slightly pungent and fruity.

Not only great on mixed salads with vegetables, fruit, fish or meat, Orange Label Borgo Condiment is also ideal in the kitchen: add a few drops at the end of cooking roast meat, fish stew, escalope, or stir-fried vegetables. Its acidity will evaporate with the heat, leaving an exquisite sweet-and-sour sauce that adds a special touch to your dishes. Using Balsamic Vinegar when cooking also means you often don’t have to add salt.
